studied with mich at bk, wheelock. wah, i realise im like a tourist whenever im walkin along orchard.. haha, many new changes and additions. haha. after studying we walked to plaza sing coz mich got her lesson at yamaha. we managed to reach there on time haha!

i had a look around plaza sing before makin my way back to hougang for mass. today the choir sounded a lil rough. but overall good, the usual.. haha. joined my choirmates for dinner, been a while since i last tagged along with them. steven's gonna fly off to US on 18th aug. bout 2 weeks le, gonna miss him. wonderful friend, brother.

tmr gonna meet up with choirmates to sell tickets for our church's feastday.

alright! weekend's here!
class was fine. Electrical tech lecture was hard to absorb! omigosh, GG.. thermofluids lab wasnt too bad, though i had to do two experiments for today's session cuz i skipped the last one. after that i hung out with my classmates for lunch before heading off to the band room to kill time. had to wait for kovan and yubing, going dinner after their classes finish.

slacked with tzeyang till 5 plus. then we made our way to dhouby and met up with mingren. the 5 of us ate at Just Acia, food not bad luh. but it was after our meal, when all the fun began. hahaha.

wah, tired sia. didnt get to go for choir prac. =/

laughter, the best medicine

hung out with yubing, kovan, madeline, james, alan, mingren and tzeyang. met up the the library before heading out to cineleisure. got ourselves tix to catch THe Haunting in Connecticut and had dinner at pastamania. the movie was pretty good, thrilling. but i was laughin a lot.

i sat between maddy and james. i noticed maddy sank lower in her seat as the movie progressed. but i was really amused when i realised james was keeping his eyes shut whenever got shocking/ scary moments. HAHA.

after the movie we traded stories on the movie experience and im kinda glad i wasnt next to yubing. ahhaha! alan got wacked the whole time and demonstrated on me, wat he experienced. =.= wtheck, pain sia! i told them bout james and maddy and everyone burst out laughing. it was total hysterics! gotta watch together again, along with more ppl! haah!

hmm.. i realise things are getting a lil too messy. beh...

oh yeah! IBM concert was fantastic! loved every minute! hahaha. was nervous at first but after a confident playing of Ride, things went on pretty smoothly. for Theatre Music i was able to play a part i never really been able to play previously! (the third set of running note at the beginning!)hahah! cool! i felt we played Jungle the best. Sea Of Wisdom wasnt too bad. the rehearsl in the morning was better.

i gotta say though, Sing x3 and Omens Of Love were played pretty well! more feel and stuff compared to the times we worked on it. IBM song was relaxed, hahah.

ooh! Godzilla was juz awesome! the parts were spot on and the crowd really had a good laugh! we, the performers, also had a really good time doing the skit. cant wait to see the video!

Music For Festival was not bad as well, coughed uo here and there coz tired and high from Godzilla. lols. and Dancing Megahitz, Bing played great. haha. clement and i were playing our own style for some melodies. hahah! speaking of clement,

i love concerts, love those who came to support, love the peeps i played along with, loveeee the saxyphone section! cant wait for the next event! time to work hard for the upcoming semestral exams.

now im completely worn out, but all the efforts we put in was without a doubt, worth every minute.

bandy band band....

my afternoons and evenings were occupied by band. final full band prac on wed and sectionals on thurs fri.
i get really worn out after each session, but i simply just enjoy playing the saxophone. times i know i tend to appear like im showing off yeah, sorry bout that. i seek to play stuff the way i want them to sound so i juz keep playing them. bugs me when it sounds off so i keep trying to make it sound perfect and things like that, yea i can appear vain. playing for ppl is always the besst way to enjoy and learn to achieve the styles we like to make it appear. im still trying to leasrn that and joining the jazz band is really a wonderful way to learn. screwing up in the cord progressions does get my moral down a lot but i gotta keep trying.

i think i'll juz stick to lovin every minute i play the sax. haha. band's going on a break after the concert's all done. haha, glad i m in jazz band. wont completely be away from playing for a full month! thats gonna suck big time. but forget bout that, still far too ahead into the future. a step at a time first.

ahhh, i juz cant help myself. im too used to enjoying the sound of a selmer. the feeling of playing a selmer. my fingers flowing to the rhythm of the piece before me on a wonderfully made saxophone.

dont get me wrong, i am loving the yamaha custom Z im currently on. its very versatile and allows diff styles of playing very well. response quick too! but still, ive been playin it for 2 months consistantly alr but then when i went back to stgabs, i tried the selmers again... and yeah, loved it more.. wahhhh sian. im baised towards selmer liao. muz hunt for a good second hanad. cant afford a new one. beh..

ahhh. still thinkin bout it.. ah!

haha. today watched transformers 2 with carrie, junwen and yuzhi. should have been more ppl actually but its fine.
oh yea, we were supposed to watch at cine but there werent any seats remaining and the next available show was at 615. hah! we managed to find out that there was a 3.35 show at filmgrand, the new mall at bugis(i forgot the name, first time went there). all the while yuzhi kept sayin he hates organizing outings.. hahah. its not his fault luh, bad luck only. organize more! practice makes perfect.. hahah!
