weekends!

and it took me a hour or less of proper reading and understanding when noting down the important things for electronic practical. found it very manageable. wished i did the same for a previous quizzes. didnt revise for those at all. haha. shot myself in the foot. should do well for today's assessment.

rushed back to hougang to meet up with melv ninian and gwyneth. we took a bus down to innova jc where daryl joined us to catch yvonne's musical. it was pretty fine. the leading roles by yvonne and her partner were done well. good job. haha

had a pleasant surprise after the performance. first off saw clarence two rows in front of mine. then later on received a call form kristel. had a lil chat with her before going off to join my choirmates back in hougang. they went off first cuz i wanted to see my old friend and boarded the bus while i was caught in two minds. haha. 

its the weekends tmr! yes! charlie's son's wedding. woo! never been to one. only hear bout those from friends and see it on television. should be wonderful. haha.

IDEAS, IMM, massage chairs

IDEAS is so troublesome. or rather, our lecturer is making it quite troublesome. juz as long as the marks are good, thats fine. went to IMM today to do the group work. decided to do on massage chairs. checked out 3 stores. but only one stood out. hahah. wont say which.

oh, bought a blazer. using it for Christmas. heh heh.

im counting down the days to when i'll see you again.

this semester is really hectic. hardly have any time to do everything. squeeze my schedule. assignments and projects piling up on me. music to practice. and sleep to recover my tired mind and body.

ahh..... time. is ticking away. each day is pretty good. most of the time. its those short lil moments that seem to stay in my mind forever, that brings colors into my world.at the same time, some disappointments and confusion. 

my imgination and daydreams need to be put in check. letting it run wild isnt healthy for me.

you dont practice enough, usually end up with shit. applies for nearly everything in life such as music, math, sports, games, blah blah.

its hard enough without having those emotions running wild. beh. procrastination will be my downfall. presentations have piled up. practices are more tiring. attachments to previous bands are stretching my schedule to the limit. self practice at home is scarce. 8 hours of sleep is even rarer. mid sem tests at the end of the month. juz let me cope with this and walk away with excellent outcomes in everything.

the symphonic room was open after class. went in and borrowed a saxo. now there's 2 altos to play from. heh heh. prac at home. wee...

i wished everyday starts at 12.

forgot my lecture notes for both modules today, Intro to Engineering and Mechanics. in the end juz slacked away in one corner. solo comp was dominated by the year 3s. i played wat i could. not my time. not yet. aint enough to impress. haha. i know that myself. so ive gotta match the standard next time around. practice afterward sapped up more energy than usual. went through cavalry, la forza, elizabeth, the graduation song for yr3s and star wars. normally juz focus on 2 but i guess its to make up for the wed's prac which was canceled cuz we're gonna attend a concert as a band.

oh, i didnt bring my alto so i ended up using one of the silver selmers. damn, came across this particular one among the 3 unused horns. not bad, made me miss playing a selmer.itsquite a seasoned sax and the intonation and sound is pretty much awesome. haha. wonder if i can find a way to obtain it.. heh heh. hmm, it seems lihao has a d-day. by the end of this month mr chiang is gonna access his playing and conclude whether or not he will be part of the concert coming january. i do hope he'll pass this test. 3 weeks isnt a lot. but i believe we can make anythin possible. elliot and i are gonna help him out every way we can. jia you lihao!

ahh... so tired. should i visit exodus tmr?

went over to px today. reached the place at 1130 had free lunch. haha, thanks sir. drilled the saxys on their set and choice pieces. they're okay luh, work on it consistently, they'd be fine. made it juz in time for mass. then tagged along for dinner at adele's place. went back to church for the christmas mass prac. woo! the build up to festive celebrations has begun. o yea.

yesterday i caught the summertime big band at tangs. good time. speakin of big band, also experienced the count basie orchestra at the esplanade last monday. woo! great exposure juz listening out to live music. im gonna play awesome soon. like i always tell others, practice. its juz easy to slack, but when time and effort is put in place, the rewards are great. 2 more days to solo comp. gonna do some prac tmr before attending the sec 3s confi at the nativity.

glad theres no class tmr

thank you Lord for answering my prayers for a day off. its been a tiring week. assignments projects to prepare and presentations suddenly pile up. haha. i guess its to balance out the scales since last sem our class hardly did anything. its definitely not the time to slack. i have to get that 4 this sem. haha. and i have to juggle sch with other activities.

having 2 concerts to prepare is rather tiring indeed. beginning to feel the effects of playing 3 nights a week, each session after a long schedule of classes. moreover, after the practices its bout past 11. which in turn means i get to bed by midnight or even later. like when i stayed up to complete my IDEAS presentation. but it was worth it i guess, it went okay. sleep deprived, it sometimes get difficult to stay awake. haha.

i really havent got much time to revise at home or even include more activities without sapping up the reserves of my energy per day. weekends are more or less decided on where ima be. gotta find a slot to squeeze in some revision and practice on my instrument. haha. solo com is on mon too. beh..

i found todays prac at jazz pretty smooth compared to the past weeks that we've been struggling through. awesome work guys! we'll do great. haha.

oh yeah. im getting an itouch. yay!

November begins a new chapter. school has more or less settled itself and now used to the schedule which will repeat its default characteristics week in week out. in between those theres concerts and celebrations to encounter to add flavor for this month.

i had a good weekend, sat with the band clique to catch the SWS concert @ TP. and today had Adele's birthday celebrations with choirmates and friends. didnt do much work of practice. ahh... presentations beginning to pile up, and the solo com beckoning, and my need to play decently on thursdays. its easier to juz forget those significant activities and ride my luck.

oh please let me kick start my engines by this month.
