still not done arranging the saxophone quintet for stgabs saxes. left with just about a week. rush rush now. still didn't prac it much as well. ohmigosh.

been going for band like nearly everyday so thought i could justify yesterday by playing soccer in the morning followed by fifa2010 on xbox360 at jacob's place from 4 to 9. hah. oh im so bloody rusty in jazz. mind is blank again. though im still pretty bad at it, it was total KO during wed night's prac.

today was supposed to soccer with the guys from 2e1 05, but i'd rather sleep. paiseh paiseh! slept all the way till 2. what a pig ive become. well, it was raining just sooooo darn good to stay in bed. hah hah. at least i picked up my alto. i found a new warm up piece. heh heh. bumblebee. ZZzzzzZZZZzzzzzz. gotta play more at home. who gives a rat's arse bout the neighbours. muahahahahahahahahahah..

im glad i didnt stay home the whole day, or whats left of it anyway. choir prac. though melv louis and jess didnt go. was surprised to see gwyneth since she usually had prac till 8 at sajc band. daryl and nini were there so it was alright. hah. in the end i met up with jess after prac as she was studyin the whole day at sch. talk talk then as i thought of going for a jog it started to drizzle. what the. i wonder if nini still went for his jog. ah well. maybe tomorrow. since theres no prac at night.

genting~

Woo! it was fun. stayed over at yang's place with alan on sunday night. we juz kept ourselfves awake the whole night by first playing cards then entertaining ourselves on ps3. cabbed down to goden mile and surprisingly we were on time. bing was already there and liyi came soon after followed by elli and carrie. soon we boarded the bus.


managed to read The Notebook bout 3/4 in between falling asleep , watching Avatar and chatting with bing. saw the aftermath of an accident just after passing the huge sign Genting Highlands. a huge lorry seem to have toppled over a van, crushing it.. finally we got there. played some arcade before checking in our rooms. oh man, the hotel rooms were small. really budget. haha. after dinner we went to the snow city and just wreaked havoc. snowball fights among ourselves and somehow with another group of people who drew first blood. yang was really merciless and alan got himself injured after a wrestling move by godzilla! totally worn out that night we fell asleep after chilling at the girls room(which was the biggest among the 3) before calling it a day.


woke up early to have breakfast. bought the outdoor package since the indoor doesnt really appeal to most(also wanna save some cash) started off with The Flying Coaster. great start. haha. the whole morning till late afternoon was just purely fun and laughter, did i mention screams? yeah, that too. won some stuffed toys as well. that night we spent our time collecting more ticket coupons at the arcade. played one game mainly throughout. we managed 2330 for all our efforts(and money). woo. played around in the foggy night as well. chilly time while taking photos and drank starbucks. had some drinking afterwards and chatting. and no uncle elliot, i wasnt drunk. Zzzzzz.. we all did get some sleep though.


the next morning yang alan and myself had breakfast since we were the more heavy eaters so we used the breakfast coupons.joined the rest for the cable car ride. pretty good view. we kept imagining what if the cable car ride was instead a roller coaster. or flying fox? i know i'd just die. speaking of dying, almost felt like it during lunch. we ate at some noodle place and we got a table at the smoking area. actually it doesnt matter whether theres a smoking area or not since in was still in the mall. not like there are walls separating the two areas. to make matters worse, there doesnt seem to be any ventilation around. suffocating. luckily we managed to move further away from the table with the main culprits of our torture. soon we were on the coach back. the return trip felt much faster since we all fell asleep and traffic was minimum compared to monday morning.had noodles again got dinner at the pit stop. and finally back on singapore soil. got to golden mile around 830. cabbed home with kovie. and sleeping on my bed... ahhh

the next few days were extremely hot. i feel like melting when i go out of my house to attend stgab band prac. i definitely miss the cooler atmosphere.and those foggy nights(mornings as well). kinda reminds me of Tagaytay City back home in the Philippines. i love the cool weather there too!

vacation

yep yep. time for some relaxation. mechanics was.. fine i guess. played badminton with tzeyang after the paper. lunched, then played 2 hours of guitar hero at moberly. hah!

got home i went out to cycle around the neighbourhood..

yeahh.. im bored sittin at home today so i did this. my body is pretty sore too. yesterday played soccer at bishan. im feeling the aches. oww.

its the 3rd of march. oh darn. i gotta send an email to jazzbanders. forgot. todays the deadline.

monday!

last paper on monday! my most dreaded module. Mechanics!

maths was pretty alright last tuesday. yesterday however, electronics scored a sucker-punch right down our guts. hah. totally unexpected paper. no resemblance to any of the past year papers.  damn, our lecturer wasnt kidding on causing an uproar before he retires.

with that in mind, i can only expect the worst for whats to come out for mechanics. this module was a bitch during MST. i even thought it was one of my safer modules and that i would die for electronics. it was the other way round that time, but im not getting excited that mechanics would prove to be kinder.

okok! revise revise. monday at 11am is holidays at last!

just dont get owned by this final paper.

past 2 afternoons were spent revising with my classmates. quite productive. we went to jianyuan's place on thurs, as for friday i met up with them at woodlands to study in the library. about 430 headed to CCK with tzeyang to join alan. yes, revised till bout 730 before i made my way back to hougang to attend chori prac.

today i took a break. didnt revise at all.weak right? only 2 days of preoper revision, and im havin a day off. wat to do, haha. went over to shichun' house for the whole day. in between, i rused back to attend mass and made a return to have dinner with the jazzband-ers. filled our bellies and had fun, esp with WII, playing rockband. haha!

tmr gonna revise the day away. monday too. basically the whole week till the 1st of march. then, relax.....

cant wait to clear this week. was reminded while visiting bing's blog bout real estate test. hah. wtheck. forgot bout it. im so screwed for mechanics. dont know a thing. maths too. argh.

thursday marks the day holding the final presentation on two theorems we gotta prove. finally. never enjoyed doing such stuff.  friday's my first final exam. hah. autocadd please be kind. assembly drawing would prolly kill me. never practiced much.

speaking of practice, i should work on those new songs. getting bad at it.

hmm, ive bought the paper. do i have the heart to make them...

ah, i don't think i'll enjoy feburary much for the next 2 years. the shortest month and things tend to cram within those 28/29 days. doesnt help the january flies, no flashed by, with all those practices for concerts. feb signifies deadlines for projects and presentations. and most importantly the exams.

pretty lucky this time round (i hope). only have 3 papers:
23rd Feb - Engineering Maths
26th Feb - Electronics
1st March - Mechanics

i cant wait for the very first afternoon of march! gonna take 3 days off in Genting along with band clique. before that though, gotta clear this week. monday's OC presentation, racing car showdown for our class, thursday's electronics presentation and friday's autocad test. the weekend's gonna be longer and more eventful as it's CNY!

mum's birthday comin up as well.. gonna do up a present~
